RECLAIM Framework ( UPSC Prelims)

News Context

The Coal Controller Organisation under the Coal Ministry and the Heartfulness Institute have introduced the RECLAIM framework.
  ● Objective: It serves as a structured guide aimed at fostering inclusive community engagement and development during the mine closure and post-closure stages.  
        ○ It acknowledges that the closure of mines has a substantial effect on both the landscapes and the local livelihoods.
        ○ There is a particular focus on gender inclusivity, the representation of vulnerable groups, and ensuring alignment with Panchayati Raj Institutions.
