The Forest Advisory Committee (FAC) granted "in-principle" approval for a project in a high conservation value area. This location is the Dibang Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, which is part of the Eastern Himalaya Global Biodiversity Hotspot. The area is characterized by the presence of the Dri and Tangon rivers.
