News Context

Encountered three earthquakes within a single day. Located in Seismic Zone V, which is the area with the highest risk of earthquakes. This region is a semi-enclosed marginal sea situated in the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean. It is bordered by Myanmar to the north, Thailand and Malaysia to the east, Indonesia and the Strait of Malacca to the south, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to the west. Additionally, it is part of the Coral Triangle.
